The Board of Directors of Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd. in its meeting held
on 9th November, 2008 re elected Mr. Fakhor Uddin Ali Ahmed as Vice President
of Chittagong Stock Exchange for one year term effective from 10th November,2008.
He has been serving as Vice President of CSE since 2004. Mr. Fakhor Uddin Ali
Ahmed is the Chairman of a leading CSE Member Firm named “International Securities
Co Ltd.” His brokerage firm is actively participated in share trading from Sylhet
Chittagong and Dhaka District.
Besides Share Brokerage Business, Mr. Fakhor Uddin is involved with many businesses.
He is the Chairman of Sylhet Communication System, SOS BD Ltd., FD Consortium
Ltd. and Taizin Taxtile Ltd. He has host of other business interest in the areas
such as textile and information technology. He is the senate member of Shahjalal
University of Science and Technology He was also the President of Sylhet Chamber
of Commerce & Industry in 1997.
Mr. Ahmed has completed his B.Com (Hons) M.Com degree from Chittagong University.
He is voluntarily contributing efforts to many social activities, such as Red
Cresent, Sylhet Heart Foundation, Rotary Club etc. Sylhet education foundation.
